My Progress

This is where I will be posting notes about my progress, or lack there of.  I will put the most recent updates on top.
Update August 13, 2011
Weight - 197
Blood Pressure- 116/66
Again, looks like a little different scale than the lasts photo, and there was not as much time between this set and the last.  Still making good progress I think, about 1.5 lbs per week.  I was looking at the progress since July 1st in a file I have where I can surimpose one photo over another and toggle them on and off, and there is a huge difference in two months time.  Not sure it is really visible in the shots here though.

Update July 29, 2011

Weight: 200
Little different scale on this set, but pretty clear progress is being made I think.  This was my first month of doing unweighed and unmeasured paleo, so I'm pretty happy with the 6.6lb loss in 4 weeks.  I've also started exercising which I don't think helps weight loss per se, but does affect body composition which is a more important goal for me really.  Time to put the scale away for 2 weeks.  Going to try updating progress every two weeks for a bit.

Update July 1, 2011

Weight: 206.6
Time to put the scale away for another month, if I can manage it.  Finally remembered to do 3 views for the photos.  Still not very flattering to my mind, but I can see progress.  I have a file where I'm trying to put the front views in register so I can toggle them on and off and I definitely see some leaning out, especially right around the chest which allows my arms to fall closer to my body.  I'm also able to fit into a size smaller jeans (36" from 38") though they are snug and I have a definite "muffin top" wearing them, but it is progress as I couldn't even get them buttoned a month ago.

Update June 10th:
Weight - 210.4 (-3.8 in 7 days)
Blood Pressure - 121/66
Fasting Glucose - 72

Might as well start with today, June 3 4, 2011:
Weight - 214.2 lbs 213.6lbs
I didn't get a picture put up yesterday so I updated the numbers for today instead.

Not the most flattering of pictures, but at this point, that is almost the point.

The "good" news, sort of, is that my weight is basically where it was 14 months ago.  The "bad" news is I had lost a fair amount in between and gained it back.
